BOOKING POLICY 

This set of rules and regulations applies to all bookings at Dômes St-Côme. Any reservation implies acceptance of Dômes St-Côme's Booking Policy. Failure to comply with the provisions below will result in the immediate cancellation of the contract and the charging of the costs incurred by such cancellation. In this case, the customer must leave the establishment immediately, without any compensation.


RESERVATION

  • Reservations required prior to arrival. Autonomous arrival process with a code for the door.

  • 2-night minimum stay.

  • Cellular network is very good on site. NO WI-FI.

  • Price includes up to 4 people. 

  • You must be of legal age, according to provincial legislation, to book a dome. 


ACCESS TO THE ACCOMMODATION

  • Arrival is from 4:00 pm. Departures before 11:00 am. Unless otherwise specified, no early arrivals or late departures will be accepted.

  • No refunds will be made for late arrivals.

  • The access code for your accommodation and all important details concerning your stay will be sent to you by e-mail a few days before your arrival.

  • 1 parking space per reservation. The dome is about a 2-minute walk from the parking lot (+/- 350 meters). 

  • No cars parked directly at your dome. For luggage transport or additional parking, please contact us before your arrival.


PAYMENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • The total amount of the stay is payable upon reservation.

  • Applicable taxes are not included in the price (GST, QST and lodging tax).

  • A security deposit of $250 will be taken on your credit card 1 day before arrival and cancelled 5 days after departure. The client must leave the premises in good condition upon departure.

  • Dômes St-Côme reserves the right to invoice customers for major damages. This amount will be billed to the customer if necessary.

  • All stays include regular housekeeping. At any time, Dômes St-Côme may charge an additional cleaning fee if the dome is left in a condition deemed “unsuitable”. A fee of $90.00/hr will be charged for any cleaning requiring special attention or extra hours. 


MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

  • Cancellation policy:
    • A $50 cancellation fee will be charged regardless of the date of cancellation.

    • 100% of pre-payments are refundable in the event of cancellation 30 days prior to arrival or earlier, minus the 50$ cancellation fee.

    • 50% of pre-payments are refundable for cancellations 15 to 29 days prior to arrival, minus the 50$ cancellation fee.

    • 0% refundable if cancelled 14 days or less before arrival. No cancellation fee in that case.

  •  For any changes to a reservation, you must notify us 14 days or more before the scheduled arrival date (e.g., date error). No changes or refunds will be accepted 14 days or less before arrival.

  • It is forbidden to sublet a dome without prior authorization from our team.


CONSTRUCTION NOTICE


Please note that light work may take place on the neighbouring property from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the construction of our second dome. The work will take place from October 2024 to January 2025. Thank you for your understanding.


SAFETY

  • Operate fires safely:

    • Never leave a fire unattended.

    • Never remove a log from a wood-burning stove.

    • Always use the metal bucket with lid to dispose of ashes. Never put ashes in a box or directly on the ground.

    • Always close the door to prevent embers from flying out.

    • Always use wood-burning tools to handle logs and ash in fireplaces. Do not use BBQ tools.

  • Site located on a mountainside. Please respect the handrails and stay away from the cliff at the bottom of the terrace. Children should remain on the terrace at all times, under adult supervision.

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the dome, as is the use of vapes, candles, incense or essential oils (diffuser, vaporizer). If odors are detected, you will automatically be billed for the security deposit. All other related costs (including compensation) will be charged in full to the customer.

  • Please keep campfires to the designated areas. Always respect fire bans where applicable.

  • The suspended net can support up to 500 lbs. Do not jump on the net.

  • Fireworks prohibited.

  • Maximum speed 10 km/h on site.


SCANDINAVIAN SPA

  • The Scandinavian spa is not an electric spa. To heat the water, you need to build a fire in the designated area.

  • WARNING: If you heat your fire too much, the water will become too hot for bathing. See our guide for a safe and optimal use of the Scandinavian spa.

  • WARNING: The hot water outlet inside the spa can be very hot/burning. Steps and deck are slippery in cold weather.

  • We maintain our spas meticulously. To help us maintain water quality, please rinse off in the shower before use.

  • The spa cover must remain closed when not in use to conserve heat and prevent the accumulation of leaves and other debris.

  • No glass containers are allowed in spas.

  • If the water is dirty (sand, rocks, wine, food, etc.) or too cloudy and our team is obliged to empty the spa on departure, you will automatically be billed your security deposit.


WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Dômes St-Côme agrees to supply all items listed on the website, including bedding, dish towels, shower towels, firewood, kindling, firelighters, and propane in the quantities required for the entire stay. Additional requests may be billed to the customer.

  • If you run out of water during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can come and refill the tanks.

  • In the event of a prolonged lack of light, it is possible that the batteries will run down and the system will trigger an alarm to notify you. If you run out of electricity, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can come and recharge the batteries manually.

  • The use of the air conditioning must be moderated due to its high energy demand. It is strictly forbidden to heat with it. We strongly invite you to use the curtains to manage the temperature in your dome during the summer months.

  • We remind you that there are no microwave ovens, electric toasters or conventional ovens.


NOISE AND NUISANCE

  • In the interests of the tranquillity of the establishment, no noise outside is allowed between 11.00 pm and 7.00 am. Dômes St-Côme reserves the right to expel guests whose behaviour is indecent or negligent, as well as guests who are aggressive, noisy, improper or who appear to be intoxicated. The same applies to customers whose behaviour is contrary to public decency and order.


PETS

  • A fee of $50 plus taxes per stay applies for pets.

  • We ask you to keep your pets on a leash at all times and to pick up after them.

  • No pets allowed on the beds.

  • In the event of major breakage or cleaning, additional charges may apply.


FORGOTTEN PERSONAL EFFECTS

If the customer requests the return of his belongings by parcel or post, this must be accompanied by tracking and insurance for valuable items. The items will be sent after the customer has paid the shipping costs. If items left behind or abandoned have not been claimed after more than 30 days, they may be disposed of or recycled as appropriate.


RESPONSIBILITY

Any person accompanying a guest is the guest's sole responsibility. It is forbidden to leave a child or pet unattended in a dome, or anywhere on the resort. 

The customer must use the dome and the property provided in a reasonable manner. Before each stay, the domes are checked to ensure that they are functional and in good condition. In the event of a problem, it is the customer's responsibility to notify the team as soon as possible by phone or text message. The customer is responsible for maintaining the dome and items in good condition. In the event of damage, Dômes St-Côme reserves the right to invoice the customer for the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies to any infringement discovered after the customer's departure, the amount of compensation will be invoiced to the customer.

Any complaint regarding the quality of the services provided by Dômes St-Côme must be made by the customer within a reasonable time. If no complaint is made within 48 hours of the end of the stay, the customer will be deemed to have waived all claims against Dômes St-Côme.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall Dômes St-Côme be liable for any damages, losses or injury, direct or indirect, arising out of or in connection with the use of this site or these terms of use. In addition, Dômes St-Côme does not guarantee or warrant in any way the accuracy of the information contained on the site or the normal and uninterrupted operation of the site. By using the site, you assume full responsibility for the risk of any damage, loss or injury that may result, directly or indirectly, from such use.
